Horseback Riding in Daniel Boone National Forest

Go On A Trail Ride You’ll Remember For a Lifetime!

With the miles and miles of trails that wind throughout the Daniel Boone National Forest area, there’s no shortage of amazing trails to ride horses on.

Wind your way through wooded trails passed waterfalls and serene overlooks.

Whisper Valley Riding Trails offers you an easy and fun way to enjoy the Red River Gorge on horseback. They’re also very affordable with pricing starting at $35 for a one-hour trail ride.

If you’re bringing your own horse, the USDA Forest Services has a trove of information about the various horse-riding trails in the National Forest. The State of Kentucky requires a Negative Coggins Test (please note, we do not have boarding or stables for horses at Cliffview).
